Gum Based Thickener. Pro Thick. Vegan Versatile, professional gum products for thickening consommés, soups, chowders, au jus, low-calorie salad dressings, fruit juices & purées. Stabilizes particles in fruit juices. A substitute for oil and egg yolks in mayonnaise. Will thicken hot or cold, and keeps the same thickness after refrigeration and heating. Kosher, MSG-Free


Note: using a shaker helps dispense Pro*Thick for better dissolving.
When preparing thickness of 1/4 cup or more per gallon, an electric mixer is recommended.
Complete dissolving occurs after several minutes. For best results, whip small amounts and check after several minutes. Add in extra Pro*Thick if necessary. Incomplete dissolving will not hinder final product if heating occurs before serving, as the addition of heating will complete the dissolving process.
Pro*Thick is especially blended to form the most versatile professional gum product available, from use as a pan release agent, to thickening soups, salad dressings, and gravies, all the way to frying eggs and omelettes.
