Ingredients
Whiskey Potato Green Chile Stew
1/2 cup Olive Oil
2 tbsp Garlic, chopped
2 cup Spanish onions, chopped
2 ea Jalapenos, sliced, fresh
1/2 tbsp Hacomat
1 tbsp Black Pepper
1 tbsp Oregano
1 lb Lamb stew meat, cut in 1/2” cubes
2 shot Whiskey Seasoned
8 ea New potatoes, cut into bite-size pieces
4 cup Green chilies, chopped
2 cup Tomatoes, chopped
8 cup Beef Broth
Beef Broth
1 oz Beef Base
2 qt Water, boiling
Preparation
Sauté garlic, onions, and jalapenos in the olive oil. Add salt, black pepper, and oregano. Cook until onions are clear, about 10 minutes. Add the lamb and brown for 10 minutes more. Add whiskey and potatoes. Stir for another 10 minutes. Add green chilies and tomatoes. Stir until all ingredients are mixed together and warmed through. Add the beef broth and simmer for 1 1/2 hours.

Setting Serve with hot flour tortillas.
