Villa Manodori invites you into the Emilian kitchen with a line of versatile infused olive oils and balsamic vinegars, to compliment any chef. These full flavored condiments are produced in very limited quantities by Massimo Bottura, chef and owner of Osteria Francescana in Modena.
The name Villa Manodori harks back to a 16th century estate located in Modena’s countryside in Italy. Great feasts of local game were often the custom at the Estensi Estate. Their renowned Aceto Balsamico (balsamic vinegar) was served as a digestive at the end of each meal. Taking great pride in restoring these Modenese culinary traditions, Chef Massimo Bottura has been committed over the past twelve years to restoring Villa Manodori Acetaia to its noble past. The result is a delectable line of authentic ingredients.
The world has become quite small. Products from places even more distant than Italy are now commonplace in today’s kitchen. Villa Manodori believes that it is important to understand where ingredients originate and how they have been used traditionally.
